“Daihatsu is presenting concept cars that offer a glimpse into the future. We remain committed to supporting environmentally friendly mobility,” said Takao Kunita, Chief Coordinator of the Marketing, Sales & Promotion Department at ECC Group, while addressing Indonesian journalists at the Daihatsu booth during JMS 2023 on Wednesday.
The Me:MO, positioned prominently at the Daihatsu booth, exudes a fun and attractive style, featuring accessories that can be added to its tires.
This car is designed to be both fashionable and technologically advanced, representing Daihatsu’s ambition to bring changes not only in design but also in vehicle configuration.
Kunita elaborated, “This Lego concept allows us to add standards or accessories as per our desire, as demonstrated here. These can be added along the body to express our individuality.”
Me:MO, being a compact car with a length of less than three meters, falls under the kei car regulations, measuring 2.955 mm in length, 1.475 mm in width, 1.590 mm in height, and a 1.985 mm wheelbase.
Another eye-catching entry is the Vision Copen, developed from the Copen’s DNA and incorporating a larger 1,300 cc turbo engine for electrification.
This vehicle embraces compact environmentally friendly engines that can use renewable fuels.
